There is an interesting story behind every example
We are consultants who apply direct marketing methods, media and metrics to resolve marketing challenges.
While some of what we have done has resulted in the development of the printed or online materials on view in this portfolio, the bulk of our efforts consist of planning, guidance and strategic development.
Of course, these are intangibles, not easily represented in graphic forms.
Each example is the visual embodiment of an extensive thought process undertaken to mitigate a complex marketing problem.
A case in point
A case in point is a manufacturer that sells products through a multi-layered channel system with no direct access to their product's end users.
They wanted to retain their customers' long-term loyalty in the face of aggressive competition and a declining marketplace.
There were two inherent problems to overcome to achieve their stated goals. Individual customers had to be identified, not broad market segments - plus we needed their contact addresses. Additionally accurate, actionable customer profiles had to be defined to gain an understanding of what would trigger their loyalty and on-going patronage.
The solution began with in-store displays where customers were given an incentive to identify themselves using "take-one" mail-in rebate forms. The resulting names were enhanced with household data that was then analyzed to create clear profiles of the manufacturer's core market segments.
A result of the analysis was the creation of a loyalty program catering to the interests of the newly identified customers.
What you see is the resulting direct mail package that invited individuals to activate their "already existing" membership in "The Dewar's Highlander Clan."
